Cockpits & Ballast Containers for Paragliding Pilots
Cockpits and ballast containers provide additional space for flight instruments and essential items while keeping everything clearly arranged in front of the pilot. Depending on the design, they can also accommodate water ballast or serve as a front-mounted reserve parachute container.
Instrument cockpits are particularly useful for cross-country and XC flying, keeping variometers, GPS devices and other flight electronics easy to see and access during flight. Models with an integrated ballast compartment also allow water ballast to be carried without requiring additional storage space on the harness.
