The Finsterwalder speed system separation system provides an automatie detachment of the speed system when using the Finsterwalder Quick-Out Karabiners on paragliders with a speed system. This separation system is recommended when harness and paraglider are connected to one another by means of brummel hooks..
The brummel hooks present on the harness, are exchanged for the special, separation system brummel hooks HKar141. If the speed system cords on the footrest are removable, then they can be exchanged for the speed system cords with sewn in loops (delivered with the speed system). If the speed system cords cannot be removed, the brummel hooks on the ends of the existing speed system cords have to be removed.
